OpenLI used in Research

Ingrid Huso (lead author) and a group from Telematics Lab at the Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy have published a paper "Design and implementation of a looking-forward Lawful Interception architecture for future mobile communication systems" proposing a novel LI framework providing a inspection-friendly end-to-end cryptography scheme based on a Key Escrow algorithm. The research used OpenLI as a basis for a proof of concept implementation.

The availability of code and the ability to modify or adapt it for research and experimentation is one of the key advantages of the open source aproach taken by OpenLI.
