The OpenLI team are very pleased to announce the release of the OpenLI provisioner web UI: a web application that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for managing and configuring lawful intercepts within the OpenLI interception platform.
The web UI is a ReactJS application that uses the existing OpenLI provisioner REST API to interface with the intercept configuration for a running OpenLI instance. With the new UI, OpenLI users can now easily add, remove or browse interceptions inside their web browser, instead of having to use command line tools or manually edit configuration files.
Access to the UI is restricted using the same methods that you would currently use to restrict access to the REST API, i.e. users may log in using their Digest Authentication credentials, or they can use an API key to gain access.
Getting the UI
Instructions for installing and configuring the UI can be found on the OpenLI wiki.
Licensing
The OpenLI provisioner web UI, like the rest of the OpenLI core software, is open-source and licensed under GPLv3. This means that you can use the UI source code (available on Github) as a starting point for developing your own custom UI for in-house use.
Feedback
We welcome any feedback on the provisioner web UI (or on OpenLI itself in general). If you find that there are problems with the UI, or the installation instructions are not working for you, please raise an issue on the Github repository for the UI.
Please note that OpenLI support customers who experience problems with the UI will receive priority assistance. If you'd like to purchase an OpenLI software support contract, please send us a message via the contact form on this website and a salesperson will get back to you as soon as possible.
